About Me

Hello Dear Friend,
Thank you for visiting my blog.  One of the privileges we have as followers of Christ is walking in community with fellow believers.  I am so glad you are willing to join me on this journey.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  

Jesus captured my heart as a young girl and as I have continued to walk with him I have fallen deeper in love with who He is.  Currently, I am walking through the daily trials and joys of being a wife and a mother of two gorgeous young daughters and loving every minute of it.  I serve in my church as a prayer partner and on the women's ministry leadership team . Through my ministry involvement I have fallen in love with the hearts of my fellow sisters in Christ, and my desire is to walk alongside them and encourage them as they encourage me in our daily walks as daughters of the King. My dream is to be the wife and mom that God has created me to be, and to someday publish a book and speak to women's groups at churches and retreats about my faith journey.

My favorite part of the day is the morning. There is just something about sitting at the feet of Jesus every morning with my Bible in my lap, my pen in my right hand and a warm cup of coffee in the other. Some days I have two blonde, bed-headed little girls in footsie pajamas climbing on me as well. Nevertheless, I soak Him in as much as I can.

Because of my relationship with the Lord I have survived some very trying circumstances. In my journey as a mommy I have experienced the joy of all joys and extremely deep heartache as well. Through it all, I have learned so much about who God is, and He continues to teach me and change me each and every day. God has placed this platform beneath my feet and has poured grace over my life. He has given me a story of His grace and power to share, and I want to share my story to encourage others in their walk. I hope and pray that all of my readers will be able to see the power and glory of our Mighty God shining through my work.

I pray that you find encouragement in reading the precious truths God lays on my heart to share with you.  May you daily walk victoriously as daughters of the King.
